International Polo
Champagne was flowing and scrumptuous snacks
offered abundantly , the air alive with excitement and anticipation, at the annual Kurland International Polo Tournament.
South Africa was relying on our team to prevent
a repeat performance of 2008 when the game
went to sudden death against rivals, Australia and we lost by one goal.
The Tsitsikamma Mountains are a perfect backdrop to the estate and vibrant Plettenberg Bay nearby offers a host of activities and great restaurants for those who prefer alternative activities.
You will be pleased to know that South Africa won the tournament, with a nail biting finish and all thanks to our young and determined team. One of South Africa's top DJ's led the celebrations into the early hours of the morning.

- Watch out for dehydration - and remember to take a lot of water and something to eat in order to sustain your energy levels.
- If you climb at night, be sure you are joining a group of experienced climbers, and wear a head-lamp.
- It gets very cold at the top, (even on hot days) especially if you have sweated, so take a warm jacket.
- The weather can change in a very short period of time, that is why you need something warm, even on a hot day.

A great trip regarless of the weather
Seapoint and Camps Bay are so beautiful that the clients did not mind the blustery weather.
